It was weird because this was in New York, at the height of the boom bap era. Death Row in the front rows, and these dudes twerking on stage.

They wasn't the best representation of rap in the south. They would've been better off bring out Luke and 2 Live Crew.

Honestly, they were affiliated with So So Def which is probably the only reason why they got to perform.

Furthermore, they stole that dance move from Jamaicans. It's the butterfly, and they simply put a bama ass twist and call it the tootsie roll
