Apollo Brown is dope but 9th Wonder has too many solid and memorable joints.

9th had his run, garbage to me now but atleast he had one and did a couple of great albums.
Apollo Brown, never really listened to like that.

speaking of producers, i remember thinking 14KT had potential to be something after liking his Golden Light album.
haven't even bothered to go check anything he's did for a few years though so i was probably wrong.

Apollos style is very transparent and easily duplicated. Thats my main issue with him. Its like he has a formula and just punches a soul sample into the equation. Theres like no variety in terms of tempo or drum programming

-chop a loop into 8 equal bits
-raise the Attack on each chop
-Kick.....Snare......Kick-Snare etc etc

9th is a bit more creative with it and has experimented more. 9th has been mostly "miss" these past few years, but Wonder Years was nice and so was the new Murs record. No one can discredit was he was doing from 2002 to like 2006. He made himself an underground legend
