I always felt like this nikka's snare drum cut a little too deep, he'd use the same snare drum in the majority of his earlier work with some slight variations in reverb to make it sound a little different. It use to be annoying, but now I want this nikkas snare drum sample but, I can't even find that shyt. :ohhh:So, when nikkas tell you to switch your style up on anything music or other, remember 9th. :mjlol:

Anyone who knows about sampling knows that every drum kit sound doesn't mesh with samples. A lot more samples would be used if it mixed right. He found a snare that actually meshed with majority of his samples. Not surprised he stuck with it although I personally would have switched it up more.

Yep, it's true certain snares fit better or worse with certain samples. The snare 9th uses is sharp as fukk and it cuts through the mix like hell. It stands out...And that's what 9th likes about it, and that's why it grew on me.

For my producer heads, I'm about to drop a gem on y'all. It's a group called Mysterious Vibes. Wiz sampled them for his song Ink My Whole Body. I'm on my cheap ass phone at the airport, so it's too much work for me to look it up and post it. But look it up on whosampld or something for the track.

Somewhere in the beginning of the song, it's a snare hit with absolutely nothing else around it. Sample that shyt and add it to your library. When I say that shyt meshes with like 98% of the shyt you sample, I mean that shyt. I call that shyt the magic snare.

Typically, I wouldn't share shyt like this, but I guess I'm in the holiday spirit. Don't just take my word, try it for yourself.

Meh...nobody gives trap producers shyt for this

True....They're put under less scrutiny. I tell Trap producers all the time that their shyt is starting to sound redundant. But, them nikkas basically produce Pop music so they don't care and neither do their fans.

But, I fukks with 9th's snare now...It's signature shyt...Nikkas always gave him flack for his snare.

9th jokes about the snare in this video. 3:10 mark. :pachaha:
