Who? :jbhmm:

Who? :patrice:

Who? :dwillhuh:

Who? :leostare:

It seems that people want Roman as a heel and felt that Seth's run was stale.

Both guys won the strap in the Mania main event, so they're ruled out. Having part-timers with the strap doesn't seem to be the wave.

Who on the Raw roster should be the top face getting a shot at Mania for the title?

Jericho? Sami Zayn? Finn Balor? Big E? Cesaro? Is there a consensus guy that's being overlooked?

Ima get some heat for this but

Reigns vs Cena NEEDS to be done at some point. Would make for some weird ass crowd reactions.

That's probably the most ready-made marquee match-up they can make with two homegrown full-time guys (though Cena seems to be approaching part-time territory soon). Everyone wants to see that.

Shoulda been Kevin Owens.
Coulda done him vs Jericho, have him feud with Balor after Mania.

Or Owens vs Balor at mania even. Missed opportunities

Stroman shouldn't be a face. I see why they made Rollins a heel now. Yea, his moveset is hard to boo, but on a personal level he comes off as a heelish guy with unconvincing face promos.

They should stick with Reigns as the new Cena, or trade AJ for Reigns or Rollins and push AJ to the moon.

Don't need to book him as a face, just book him as a giant badass who will fight anyone. People would have got behind him major if they hadn't let Reigns beat him

...but if you trade AJ for Reigns, then who should be the top face on Smackdown? Who is a guy that people will realistically cheer and support as a long-term main event face?

Do people realistically see Cesaro or Strowman in a program going from the Rumble to closing out WrestleMania?

I'm seeing Balor's name come up.

That sounds good, though we really haven't seen him do anything in a storyline yet (outside of threatening Rollins with "The Demon King" appearance) and who knows how long it'd be before there'd be a push for him to turn heel and re-form a WWE version of The Bullet Club with Gallows & Anderson...but that's just my assumption.

Made a thread about a dumb question no one cared to answer in the other thread? Goldberg is the raw main eventer this WM, and anyone would be a 'star' with Roman's now 4 year push. Your answer- anyone.

He probably could be over as a face, but his look and style of work is more suited to being a heel imo. Main events where the face is much bigger than the heel isn't really done

Finn Balor is the only new guy I could see who could appeal to both casual and hardcore fans. If I had to go with a vet it would be Jericho.

We're Detroit, breh. :hubie:

I'm not asking because I want to know who can be a star. I know any guy could be a top guy with a push, but I'm curious about who people want to be a top babyface. I personally don't mind Goldberg in the Raw main event, but since there seems to be a bit of an outcry, I'm just curious.

Seth got a push, but people didn't seem dig him as a face once he made the turn. They may come around once the Trips feud plays out, but there doesn't seem to be many guys where people want him to be a good guy and win like they did :bryan:

Punk got the push but people wanted him heel. Del Rio got the push, people wanted him heel. People want Cena heel. People prefer Orton heel. They want Roman heel. They want Rusev heel.

How often do you see people (in this forum and outside of it) say "they just need to turn him heel" compared to "he should just turn face"?
