He's speaking from his experiences and I cant knock that. The media is going to take "incidents" from Trump a trump rally and present it as a white nationalist version of Royal Rumble. Granted, its the media we're talking about, so you have to expect that. Minus Fox, Talk Radio, and the conservative presence online, the media is largely on the Left. Still, one cant deny Trump walks both sides of that talk out of both sides of your mouth when being a conservative white American. He's elevated the bar on oppurtunism, and in dangerous ways considering incidents at his rallies, and the general political discourse throughout this election. He's more than okay with pandering to racist and xenophobic elements of this country.
Still, I cant front, there have been instances where Trump has said things that resonated with me. You'll have that anytime a candidate takes a populist tone to campaign with. Its actually refreshing in some respects to hear somebody say whatever. Thats what made Hip Hop and Punk refreshing years ago. Every now and then a rapper comes along and DMX's the game as Jay said years ago about 50's rise to prominence in 2003. Still, Curtis turned out to be another McAverage who IMO did more harm to the culture than good especially considering beefs and battles are like WWE. This is politics though, not music. That said, I think Black people should be innocent like a dove but cautious like a serpent in 2016. Trump could turn out to be the worst thing that could happen here in the long run. Or, he could be whats needed to shake the course of politics as usual. Same with Bernie on the left.
To be honest with you, I dont know whats worse as it pertains to Black people.... Trump's "Make America Great Again" with an asterisk that includes the Black economy, or the DNC's perfunctory (look that word up) approach to politics and Black people? Its all possibly six in one hand and a half dozen in the other. Roll the dice and get burned, or go with what you know and expect the same ( as in nothing).
