    I had a breh who was E/E and them Cacs made it so he couldn't reenlist because he was "Combative" due to him having to do everybody else's job that wasn't on his contract.

    that's weird, never even heard of being denied reenlistment because of job contracts. The military makes you do jobs all the time that aren't "in your contract". Also, Officers dont have reenlistments. Officers have an obligated time of service we receive upon being commissioned (4-6 years usually). Otherwise a commission is indefinite and you just resign when your career is over. You sure your boy is telling the whole story? :patrice:

    Also you sure youre not talking about the Electrical/Environmental enlisted maintenance job (also referred to as E&E)?

    It was the enlisted version. He used to say they basically had him moving boxes the whole time while the manpower dudes were chilling.

    Shiettt I was fuels on 130s we hardly did flight line work. That plane was about to be chilling in thr hangar if it had a fuel job.

    i hate....hate HATE yall lol. Imagine being a nikka that gotta worry about flight controls, radar, communications, indicators, EVERY ELECTRONIC THING ON THE JET that E&E dont deal with and then you troubleshoot a bad fuel probe but FUELS want you to order and ohm out the part for em to install even though its in their 623s/tba to do so. nikkas be lazy af lol. Thats why when I got my 7 level. I shut all that doing favors shyt down. Those cacs did not like me at all cause when I was in charge. Specialist didn't suck no dikk. We did our shyt and I let my people go home. fukk doing favors for other shops

    Either your boy got the boot for discipline/medical reasons or he was in a over manned career field and he wouldnt crosstrain and thus involuntarily separated

    Im ANG so those old E6 and E7s had been around for 15 plus years right?

    To THIS DAY , they cursed the name of the Superintendent who decreed that fuel quantity probes were a fuels job and not E/E :mjlol:


    Changing out fuel quantity probes on 130s was like a 40 hour job. Wasnt a common job but it did suck

    Traditional officer. Hopefully I'll get a technician slot after tech school or guard bum or hop on a STAT tour or ADOS. Or even go private sector (ima be a cyber officer). Lotta options.
