The thing is, while Asians typically get the "all look the same" label, I'll be honest I think its maybe more about not being used to interacting with certain groups as much.Yo.....i hope this dont sound fukked up but they do look the same
For example, I have the same problem with white people sometimes unless they have a different hair color or something. Like I've been at restaurants where I'd get a white male waiter and then the person who served my food is another white male waiter and I start to wonder "is this the same guy?" Like sometimes even white people look alike to me.

I'm actually fascinated by the scientific aspect of this. Is the brain just lazy and only bothers to remember the most unique features of a person? Is the reason asians are typically stuck with this perception is because they lack diversity in hair color and skin color unlike black folks (at least in skin color) or white folks?
Reminds me of this prank where this fast food restaurant would have one cashier take the order and when the person wasn't looking, switch a person out with someone else and most times the people noticed, but sometimes they didn't
