Sounds like some conservative propaganda. We absolutely need taxes. We just need better policies on how the money is spent.
Yeah not listening to that dude. No public investment for you and concentration of wealth and all societal benefit for him. Because he is a “Dubai billionaire” that is supposed to mean something ?
I’m not going to pretend to know much about Dubai. Not like I had a reason to care enough to learn about it. But I know history and humans and unless the wealthy few in that country are very generous as far funding all public goods like healthcare, social safety net, infrastructure for everyone to use, public utility, and services like fire, police, and ems, then my guess is there is a huge chasm in the quality of life of the poor and rich in that country. This is a universal constant when this dynamic exists.

They have oil money but also they have taxes like vat, property, corporate, and most of their government revenue come from fees like property registration fee, tourist fee, etc. obviously nobody likes paying taxes

When he says "we", who does he mean? My mom recently when to Dubai and spent time with this fam...they don't pay taxes, housing, get money twice a year cover food.....and most of the workers are effectively slaves.
