Jobs for a Finance Degree
-Staff Accountant
-Financial Analyst
-Senior Accountant
-Senior Financial Analyst

And those are just at the first level. This isn't counting the jobs at the Supervisor, Manager, Director and Vice President level.

What are you talking about.

I will say all degrees are overrated to some extent though, some more than others. I work in Finance as a financial analyst without a finance degree. They wanted a degree in finance or economics but my finesse game strong. I got a weak as bachelors in business administration. Like someone pointed out though, it’s more about networking than anything. You do have to have some type of credentials to get in certain sectors or positions, for example, I don’t have a finance degree but they wouldn’t have even called me if I didn’t ha a degree at all. But for the most part, it’s about networking, confidence, and how much risk you are willing to take by lying/fabricating your skills and/or experience.

My degree was almost in Econ till I realized I suck at graphing and you need a lot of exp or an advanced degree. Finance can be tough too unless you go to a top ranked school nationally.
I switched to accounting instead.

The Coli really thinks any non STEM degree is useless

I remember when nikkas called a Poli Sci degree useless too:dead:
A Political Science degree generally prepares you to be a scholar. Unless a person is trying to be a teacher or stay in academia it's not explicitly useful. Contrary to popular belief, it does not prepare you to be a politician. It doesn't even explicitly prepare you for law school. It's not a useless degree but the vast majority of people know nothing about it so they Juelz up an opinion about it.
