Interesting that you many place the Communist movement as one of the most consequential. I don't disagree, but you may be surprised to learn about the Zionist involvement within the USSR. they had quite the foothold in Soviet Russia pre- WWII

I know all about it. And how the Soviets flipped sides with several arab countries (look at Egypt for example and the Muslim Brotherhood to kill Sadat after the Egyptians pushed the Soviets out of the country) depending on where their allegiances lied.

The Soviets hated Israel...until they didn't...until they did again.

When it came to fighting Germany, "Capitalist" America allied with the "Communist" Soviets, many of whom were political zionist and ethnic jews. Why would that have been?

My point was more so that economics, wether Communist or capitalist, is simply used as a vessel to achieve political ends. Not trying to start about specifics, but I just feel that economics can be bent/molded , but that the dominant political beliefs of the gov't are more important and supercede whatever economic system is being used.
