A good determination whether someone can critically think and do their own research is if they’re a Christian

If a person takes the time to read the Bible and critically analyze it, there’s no way that Jesus is the messiah.

Your journey can begin by reading the 4 gospels. If you read them back to back Matthew Mark Luke John, you’ll notice that there are discrepancies in the stories they tell.

Matthew 27:32
Mark 15:21
Luke 23:26

John 19:17

I haven’t even touched on the virgin birth, that has been mistranslated from the Hebrew word almah, which in the context of Isaiah 7:14 means young woman, and in the context of the whole story told has zero to do with the messiah.
Most Christians just adhere to the New Testament, which is a trap, because everything in the New Testament is supposedly derived from the Old Testament, but once you begin reading the Old Testament, even the ones referenced in the New Testament, there are mistakes! :mindblown:

So with this being said, why has the virgin birth been glossed over by 2 of the 4 gospels. Why are there inconsistencies in core stories surrounding Jesus like who carried the cross, what were Jesus’s final words, who was at the tomb, how many days and nights Jesus was dead.

When the messiah appears

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (Isaiah 2:4).

Literally no war after the messiah. He is such a thorough man everyone will listen to him, and cease to war. Has happened since Jesus lived and died?

Jesus directly contradicting Mosaic law?

Leviticus 19:17
Like 14:25-26

Psalm 146:3 - don’t put your trust in a son of man.

Jesus constantly refers to himself as the son of man.

Why are you even Christian? When Jesus was a Jew.
