A lil internet help (hotspots etc)

Long story short, my friend just moved to florida and is living in her boyfriends dads condo till prob mid july. She has no internet acess there, what would yall recomend (she doesnt want to mess up his cable bill for a yr by adding internet.) What is the best alternative, buying one of those hotspots? Any info would be great, and supported with daps/rep.

She can use her phone, depending on the type and her plan as a Hotspot but unless she has a truly unlimited plan which most cellphone companies don't anymore she is going to reach her cap quick

Honestly she should just add Internet to the current cable plan

Cant she just ask to add on internet service and say that she'll pay for that part of the cable service until she moves out and then her bf's dad can cancel it?
