Even Ice who runs/knows all them QB cats (he's tight with mega and nas), said Mega rubs people the wrong way. His pause/pondering when asked the question tells you all you need to know about why Nas called mega an arrogant fuk

Who remembers when Mega beat the brakes off of Nature when he caught him in Queensbridge after he said some sideways subliminal ish in a magazine? Then Nas's homies caught him years later and beat him again. Salute to Nature tho, he was nice, he just didn't have any "it" factor, no appeal.
That nikka was on Jack Thriller talking about how he had Ice snuff Stoute. This is one of the reasons Nas stopped fukking with him. He was bringing street shyt to the music business.
As for the Stoute stuff, that's business. Mega wanted all the benefits that came from being associated with Nas and Stoute for free. Was Stoute supposed to EP his album for free?
This fool alienated Nas' fan base and connections over $50k.Even Mega admitted that was a big mistake.
I mean he eventually made his way on the indie circuit, but obviously that success wasn't enough to remove the bitterness of getting kicked out of the camp.

sucka shyt stand by ya word better yet pay respect&don't say shyt about mural if you gonna backtrack.....he was doing that same editing shyt when Prodigy's mural got defaced while he knew he actually wa actually responsible for it![]()
.But we shouldn't be surprised this the same nikka who sat in the car watched his people stomp out&rob a his friend who helped revitalize his career.Whom son said he owed so much credit for his success
."The Realness"

but they bring up Lake, Twin,Sherm etc and every other non-rapping QB dude.
I’m a Nas fan lol

low-key mega was Budden before budden with his message board he always been emotionalMega is miserable man. Still bitter about Nas after all these years.
low-key mega was Budden before budden with his message board he always been emotional

Nas & Cormega squashed the beef for a while during the QB album...they beef ignited again during the video shoot when Nas told security to ask Mega to give the rented jewelry back because son thought he was going to steal it
Mega told Nas to suck his dikk to his face & walked off![]()
This whole story is Hollywood as fukk.
As Cam would say...ducktales
Like Cormega's ego would allow him to take jewelry from Nasir..come on son. That's a faulty ass script you just presented. Go back rewrite that shyt.
Are sure on that?
I heard Nas didn't want Mega on QB finest CD and he had to be convinced. Ultimately he was added but it didnt seem it was on sum
Koombayay...open arms type shyt
Oh yeah, "QBs Finest" I got co-production credits for that, though it should have said "Produced by Cormega," but whatever at least they tried, you know what I'm saying. I did shyt on "Legal Hustle," "Realness," and Dona's new album. I did a lot of other shyt, MC Shan's verse on "Bridge 2001." Matter of fact nikkas didn't even want Shan on it, and I was infuriated. How you gonna remake a man's song and not even ask him to be on it? nikkas didn't think Shan could come with it, and I was like "That's the point." We got a group of elite rappers, we can help Shan. So I said "fukk it," wrote the verse and coached Shan on how to do it, you know what I'm saying. When it was done, nikkas was blown away cuz Shan really brought it.
There’s always gonna be talent in Queensbridge. I’m telling you, QB is a f**king cesspool of talent. But the thing with Queensbridge is that there are people in the streets who have legitimate beef with each other. So, this rapper coming out might be down with a particular crew who have beef with another crew that this other rapper is down with. So what f**ked up Queensbridge was the dissension amongst all of us because of the differences between certain people. That’s why there was never any real unity between all the artists coming out of Queensbridge. It’s like, when we did the QB Finest album in 2000, people really didn’t know how to play their position and thought they were better than the next man or were the top artist. Now, Nas is the top artist from Queensbridge, whether you like him or not. Mobb Deep is the top group from Queensbridge. You have to accept and respect that, but some individuals felt that because they’re a street ni**a they can’t play certain positions because of who they are. But rap and the streets are two different things. So in the streets you might be that ni**a, but in the industry Mobb Deep and Nas are those ni**as. That’s what rappers in the ’hood need to understand, but people’s egos got in the way. I always give props to anyone who deserves props. I mean, I think Havoc is probably the most talented person from QB because he raps good and his production is amazing. Even when me and Nas had differences, I would still tell people I thought he was one of the best rappers out. I mean, Queensbridge will always be a focal point of hip-hop, but if we’d have had unity Queensbridge would’ve been even bigger and stronger than it is today.
where did you get this story from?
nas and mega did squash the beef before the recording for QB finest
they both called up hot97 in the morning (1999) and honestly it was a goat moment as a hiphop fan
years later in 2005 cormega then spoke about the QB finest album and issues wit nas and mc shan
mc shan spoke on this as well
honestly its only the fans who fuel the fire between cormega and nas
he has given nas props plenty of times and i think he does a good job of dealing with the "shadow" aspect
nas hasnt had beef with cormega and cormega hasnt had beef wit nas for years
its just stan wars
