Is Lupe more respected in the Chicago rap scene than Kanye, Common or Twista?
I noticed more of the young Chicago rappers shout him out and hop on collabs with him than any other established Chicago rapper.
From the conscious rappers like Mick Jenkins to the drill rappers he seem to get more recognition from them than any of the others, even Kanye.
They be calling him big bro and all that. If so that’s dope that a lyricist of his caliber got the respect in his city.
