I’m weary about it limited early reviews.its pretty obvious studios have been using rotten tomatoes as a hype tool by allowing certain people to review way early that they know will like it. Just look at Annabelle creation. It was at like 100% for quite a while because they did that exact thing. Then by the time it was already out it dipped down to like 60%.

Not saying this will dip but :yeshrug:

I fukk with that movie tho.

Anyway this screened at SXSW so it’s the movie audience there and the critics who normally go. It’s the same method with any horror flick these days really and it’s why the board has had that discussion on the witch or it follows or the babadook.

But again it’s one reason I wish @FlyRy woildnt so that shyt:russ: all it does it make the backlash on this board bigger if someone disagrees and then says a flick is overrated or goes in wanting to dislike it.

This whole board is on some sheep shyt when it comes to critics. But then the min critics dislike something they love, the knives come out.

I've seen that before with a horror movie, i can't remember which one but the initial screening the shyt was at 90 something or higher and then it was rotten when it actually came out :heh:

They weren't giving it such high praise like this one though.

You know the shyt don’t apply to you. But you’re making it tougher on the flock
