so i moved homes not too long ago, i was working like dog shyt! but i made it.

but my finances are a little constricted because i refurbished, painted the walls, got wood floors, the whole works.

now i have some spare time again and wanted to do this new painting collage i have been working a long time on talking some of the stuff is like 6 years old.

now i get my final pay from this courier gig i have been doing to help costs and bills, but with that pay i was thinking of being gung-ho and wreck-less and buying 20 hardboard pieces.

for the work below ( they are illustrations and little paintings done on paperback to be glued onto the canvas then painted on) got like 70 A2 works :

thats 4 random pieces to be glued down to hardboard so i can paint on, then frame and then try to sell or exhibit.

the hardboard 20x is going to cost me half of my final courier note, so i am thinking am i becoming too delusional in this old age or just go for it. (yolo :bryan:
)
critiques welcomed.

whats that i hear? you want to know the technique.

i ink an A2 260GSM white paperback sheet then either water color, acrylics rarely oils on paperback unless i got some to spare.

now i have enough of these i ripped them up in collage, added some old old works and pieces. now i will glue them down to hardboard 84mx117m size.

it should come out dope like some older joints :

i am actually banking a huge amount of my future thinking i may blow! :russ: :wow:

390 pound sterling.

i know it seems like a waste for something to just sit there for a while but i look at it as an investment, its just my cash flow is static for a couple years now.

if you have the extra money and it's not going to set you back with all of your other expenses then it's cool, but if your depending on paycheck to paycheck every week or every other week, there's no need to spend the money you have that needs to go to your essential expenses payments.

thats true.

i am not living week to week though, i have a good sum stored in my savings account for rainy days. then what i earn is what i spend but now that i am leaving my courier job i only have removals and wishful thinking to help with the new costs and living.

props on the input, i am going to do it ... i just wanted it not to be a waste of time but since i am kicking back this summer i will do it! :salute:

yeah thats the sad part because unless you go into the business side like advertising theres only a few people who make money off it.

but its good recreational pursuit anyway. :salute:

Yeah, that's true

True, it is, and a lot of people do it just for that reason alone. It's not even about the money for a lot of people, but more for the love it and the enjoyment they get from creating new art.

its therapeutic too, i always encourage people to create you dont have to know how to draw or paint or make beats. just doing some explorative is healthy.
