I agree with you bruh, but let's be real. if the average dude met a male victim of domestic violence, his first reaction is gonna be, "this dude is a bytch-ass nygga." he won't have the same reaction to a female victim of domestic violence
that mentality whether right or wrong is a big part of the reason why there's a double standard. it comes from a belief that men are supposed to be stronger and more dominant than women and its derived from an image of masculinity that's perpetuated by men. it's funny that you're calling out the females cuz like I said, in general a woman will be way more sympathetic to a dude who's getting his ass whooped by his girl than a man would
