The Energy Society of the University of Canterbury held a car costume, where members decorated cars and wore costumes that offended Ebola victims, victims of violence in Gaza, as well as victims of the Taliban.

Beta Theta Pi threw a “rock stars and rappers” party, where attendees came wearing blackface.

Students in Montréal donned blackface and colors of the Jamaican flag in“honor” of Usain Bolt while shouting “smoke more weed” and championing a monkey mascot.

Students were prompted to protest conditions for black students at U.C. San Diego after a racist “Compton Cookout” party was thrown during Black History Month.

If you thought ASU's MLK party was the first time any university had ever thrown a racially insensitve theme party, citing MLK as “inspiration” for a theme, then you might not have known that students at Tarleton did the same thing in 2007.
