It's a pretty wild read considering the hands the loan ended up passing through. Maybe more will come from it maybe not. I do think this was originally reported sometime ago.

Seems like she's always caught breaking laws but is never sanctioned for it.
Yeah the wild thing is what happened after the loan, not the loan itself. Who knows where it will end.
Nah no idea, I think some random assistant got fired or something like that and some administrative/financial sanction happened but haven't really followed the whole thing. Despite the usual extreme-right populist bs, she's very much in the system so there's no reason to believe she'll go to prison more than anyone else. Also I wouldn't be surprised that whoever is following the case at the EU level is keeping it on the low so as to not make of her a "martyr" of "Brussels" and add more fuel to the anti-EU fire. She would probably love to be convicted, with how people think she would probably win more votes
