A Series Imagining Hillary Clinton's Life If She Never Married Bill Is Heading To Hulu
The show is based on 'Rodham,' Curtis Sittenfeld's 2020 novel that rewrites Hillary's history.

Many have speculated about what Hillary Rodham Clinton's life would've look like if she hadn't fallen for an Arkansas man named Bill. Wonder no longer: A series reimagining the former first lady, senator, and presidential candidate's life without her marriage to Bill is heading to Hulu.

The Affair's Sarah Treem will adapt Rodham, the best-selling 2019 novel by Curtis Sittenfeld. Both the book and scripted show explore a revisionist history in which Hillary never weds Bill, instead opting to forge her own career path separate from his political ambitions. A description of the series, which is only in development and has not been officially picked up, reads:

A modern parable about choices, feminism and why this country has such a complicated relationship to women in power, Rodham tells the story of an ambitious young woman, developing her extraordinary mind in the latter part of the 20th century, moving from idealism to cynicism and all the way back again.

Not for nothing but marrying Bill Clinton fukked up Hillary's ability to achieve her own personal life goals more than it helped.

I see why you might think so, but I can't cosign just yet. I mean, it's being married to him that gave her a national profile and got her foot into the White House. I haven't seen anything to convince she could have done that on her own.

She can’t/won’t/nor should she admit it, but I wonder does she deep down have any sorta regrets about it?

I'm sure she does. What good is suffering the humiliation of being cheated on for years, only to walk away a two time loser. And once to Trump of all people. :mjlol: That burns.

One, if not the biggest L’s in modern US history :wow:

History says that she still lost to Trump regardless of the “supposed” circumstances that led to her losing.

I disagree with this because this take discounts how much the American public (maybe any public) values charisma in its selection of candidates. Hillary is clearly brilliant, but she has a charisma deficit, and thus lacked what Bill has in spades.

Bill is brilliant and I think she is just as brilliant as he, but I dont know how far she goes alone without his charisma, people skills, and borderline unprecedented ability to work a crowd.

She couldn't even decisively beat Donald Trump for God's sake. Let's not forget the fact that at the Presidential level, a Democrat hasn't lost PA, WI, or MI since the 1980's.

She is flat out unlikable.
