Black folks still falling for the tithing hustle. The bible doesnt even say give 10% of your income. Nobody on here can give me a verse where it explicitly says that. Only sheep blindly follow.

Now I can show you what God really had them doing with their tithes. Its very shocking :sas2:

Its my belief that the bible, especially the old testament is like a history book and a blueprint to building a functioning thriving society. People forget how functional the knowledge in it is.

For example, honor thy mother and Father and thy days shall be long. In those days you were whatever your father was. If he was a carpenter so were you, and when he died you would take over his practice and customers. For you to dishonor and get casted away from your father you would lose your birth right, which would certainly make your life harder. Adoption wasn't the wave so that kid would be doomed out there alone.

The dietary laws. We're just catching up to the fact that grass fed natural meat is the healthiest option. What does the bible say, "You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud."

The pig is unclean, Yes, The Scientific Evidence Says That Eating Pork Does Cause Cancer | Silver Doctors

"'Of all the creatures living in the water of the seas and the streams you may eat any that have fins and scales"
Shrimp
Shrimp are high in LDL cholesterol, according to Heal With Food. Concentrations of LDL cholesterol in the blood can increase plaque build-up in arteries, which contributes to hardening of the artery walls and can cause a stroke or heart attack if a clot forms and blocks the flow of blood.

I could go on, but one last obscure commandments everyone seems to forget that let me personally know it was written with black people in mind.

"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard"

What happens to black men when they shave the sides of their heads and shave their faces

As you can see from this thread, simply telling people good things is woefully ineffective. The arrogance of most men won't allow them to heed good advice without trying the wrong way and getting burned a few times. So how do you get stupid arrogant people to act in their best interests, you tell them that your good advice came from God himself.
The New Testament, when applied properly, is an excellent reference point for morality within an ethnic community.

Like as in such as, a main stumbling block to Black group economics is a fundamental misunderstanding and misapplication of free market capitalism in the Black community. Mainly, a belief that capitalism is the end, rather than a means.

nikkas have an erroneous belief that they must get money no matter what, instead of providing a service that benefits both them and the community they employ and serve to reinforce their business model. This flawed thinking is revealing itself in the White community, as corporations find out that assraping their consumer base/employees tends to undermine their enterprise.

If you love your brother as you love yourself, you will not assrape him at the register or in the board room.

I was talking to an older church lady and she asked me why I don't eat pork. I told her because the bible says I shouldn't eat pork. She was like where does it say that? I said Leviticus. She was like, imma have to check that.

But I've never met a church person who doesn't know this verse,

"Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings."

It's not what goes into a man's mouth (pause) that defiles him, but what comes out.

But I digress.

The funniest thing about children accusing people of being agents and cacs (aside from the fact that some of the people notorious for doing that in the past are now being accused themselves rofl), is the hypocrisy of it all.

There are myriad threads all over this site showcasing sociopathic and idiotic behavior in the Black community, and these same supposed pro-Blacks are nowhere to be found. Which is axiomatic of the unshakable fact that the agent/cac button is merely a fallacious defense for the small-minded incapable of rational discourse.

One would think a cac White supremacist agent would be more inclined to present music, videos, and social media content that undermines the Black community with negatively stereotypical propaganda, rather than engage in political discourse.

shyt, there are about 6 threads on the first page of The Booth right now promoting stereotypically negative behavior in the Black community. Most of which would lead a nikka to lose his voting rights and make it harder for him to climb the socioeconomic ladder, basically rendering a political discussion null and void.:snoop:

Everything, why are you easily to accept what he says as "truth"

I don't get wrapped up in speakers, I take information and process what makes sense to me. I think most people are preoccupied with how they "feel" about an individual to the point they can't unbiasedly assess the information being presented to them. I also suspect you're one of those people since you gave that generic cop out answer of "everything." I knew you wouldn't give specifics which is why I asked :heh: Standout points I took from the clips were:

1. Most wealth being generated generationally
2. Black people are at a disadvantage financially so we should be more conservative in our spending habits than our counterparts
3. Splurging now robs us of the ability to pass that discretionary money down for our children's benefit
4. Financial concepts should be taught from childhood
5. Academic curriculum that is tailored to concepts that specifically address the black condition are beneficial to the community as a whole

These aren't "deep" concepts anybody should feel a need to be mad about. They're damn near common sense.

Yeah, and the crazy thing is that if you have a lucrative hustle/ profession, with the clan based mentality, you can save loads and loads of $$$. When I finished school in 2009 at the height of the recession, I stayed home and worked 2 jobs, saving up to 45k per year. :damn:

Then I left 5 years later with a hefty amount of money saved and have a down payment of my own place. shyt, up until the end of 2011, I never took a damn vacation or even go out more than 6 times per year.
I aint bout that life
no vacation or going out :smh:
I understand the grind but I gotta have balance :manny:

With the exception that he applies his logic to an entire race of people and preaches black people being conservative and not spending money because we are socially poor. Which is bullshyt. But hey any fool can get on youtube and drop "knowledge" and you clowns will eat it up because your so convinced that we as black people need to take special precaution like eating top ramen and wearing hand me downs (by choice) to pass on a few extra thousand dollars to our children like some fukked up broke nikka stimulus package. Basically attacking any type of spending black people do and saying it should be put under a microscope because its not "helping" our children's children's get a leg up, which of course is more bullshyt............but that's my 2 cents. If you got money then you can spend money and wont necessarily have to cut off your leg to survive. If you don't then your broke......and frivolous spending is not only not a possibility but an implausibility.

Ask that man how he spending all that money he got for that school.

This.

Just graduated from a well to do state school. My offers were all mid 50ks. No student loans (God bless my parents), no CC debt ( I don't even have one though...:francis:) and my car is mine outright (that nice 07 Toyota Corolla S :blessed:).

Just doing some side jobs until I start Full time in summer.
Would you say everyone in your graduating class all got job offers over 50k? What was the major?

When I was younger I was all about the church. Junior deacon, usher board, youth choir, all that. But when I got older and hit the streets I was expossef to soooo much.

See I was blessed to be fairly handsome, and I had the mouth piece to be able to fit in many social circles. I never let it be known I was a church boy because I was disillusioned with it. My soul didn't feel right repping the church so heavy.

So in those days I met many colorful (for lack of a better term) women. The shyt these women put me on was mind blowing. I would hear stories of pastors doing drugs, fornicating, I even heard of a group of prominent pastors in the area who would gather together for bisexual orgies (one of them was my blood cousin, he divorced his wife shortly after and married a reformed lesbian).

These women admitted that these pastors told them that they saw church as a hustle.

Of course there are good ones out there, I have another cousin pastor who has refused any salary, still works a 9-5, is completely transparent with the churches finances, and uses any surplus money to fund scholarships and buy school supplies for the children. But there are very few like him and his congregation is <250 people

I can imagine that this would be a wild scenario to deal with but there will always be wolves in sheep clothing. Gotta judge the fruit (actions) and not just the wo
Would you say everyone in your graduating class all got job offers over 50k? What was the major?

I went to the University of Maryland, one of the better state schools in the country. I majored in Economics (essentially like Finance with broader applications and a bit more Math). Amongst most of my boys (Nigerians, Kenyans, Ghanaians, a few African Americans etc) most of us cracked well over 50k, average was like 59-62k in total compensation. Most of us started out as Business Analysts or some variation of an entry level analyst. Companies on our rap sheet; Morgan Stanley, Lord's and Taylor's, Deloitte Consulting, Exelon, Wells Fargo, The Carlyle Group etc

If you check the college thread in the 6 figures, 6 certs forum, you'll see my posting about not being the best student in the testing hall (I graduated far from even a 3.0) but I made up for it with 4 internships (including one in South East Asia) and various leadership roles (in one role our start-up company won $2,500 to start essentially a college based hybrid of eBay/Craigslist/Amazon.

Now, for everyone in the entire Economics graduating class of 2016, which is like well over 2,000 people, then No, not everyone made over 50k coming out but....caveat it with this....

-Some people went on to grad school, law school or Ph.D. programs
-Some people didn't apply to the corporate jobs when they were hiring and are in a "transition period"
-Some people took time off to volunteer or travel
-Some people honestly were bad in the class and in the work field and moved back home
-Some people took jobs outside the expected Econ field (corporate finance, government, business etc)
-Others found good entry level positions which should be in the low 40k at the minimum.
