Tanking doesn't guarantee anything. 76ers have been doing it for the last several years and they have not gotten any better. As a fan, I'm happy they didn't

Tanking doesn't guarantee you the top pick, but you'd certainly get a top 10 pick this year had you taken your foot off the gas. You ending up with Hezonja or Porzingis would have been better than getting the beats from the Hawks or Cavs.
You still need a PG, David West is getting up there and you have a ton of money tied up between George, Hibbert, West and Hill. Where will the improvement come from beyond this year? You think Stuckey gonna keep averaging 20/5/5 on ridiculous percentages?
On paper you would think this squad would be a contender. But then u think about Wade not being able to stay healthy, Deng being worn down because of years playing huge minutes and Dragic not being the top tier point guard that some try to make him out to be and it all starts to make sense. Now with a healthy Bosh next season they probably can win 45 to 50 games but they still don't have that centerpiece (since Wade cant stay on the court ) to be championship squad.

Miami has no depth; Wade is a shoe-in to miss a 1/3 of a season, and our coach is horrible.
Assuming we keep Dragic, we'll likely win 40-42 games. I do agree this teams needs to have a clean rebuild, but Riley ain't about that #Tanklife so hope for the best
