Big 4 is a joke. I started off in private equity actually and moved into a corporations m&a team.

All I know is I see all these Medicare white guys with mediocre companies get bought at 100-200 million all the time. Like small ass companies. Entrepreneurship is the only way to go.
what you know about the pharmaceutical industry to head into that though :comeon:

Just put it this way. There are maybe 3 black investment banks that make money, two which make ok money. :yeshrug:

The only black managing director I've seen make it at a big bank they kicked that nikka out. Hes down here in the A now and told us straight up at a NASP meeting to start a business and leave investment banking:francis:

now there are some black guys making in it private equity, little trading, lots of asset management and real estate private equity. :ehh:

Investment banking is literally who you know, these cacs have generational relationships. And they pretty much grow up together. Its hard to make it to the TOP per say and your working 70-100 hours a week. :wow:
do you believe this reality makes brehs in Finance more pro-black and motivated to respond accordingly with black power agenda?why or why not?

there are a good amount of brehs "making it" if you combine various industries, but yet fundamental struggles like you describes still exist in each of those industries that could be effectively addressed had each of those brehs become clients of each other, jewish blueprint

Makes u realize how much access whites have to capital through their second cousins stepdad.

Now finance and accounting imo is a straight scam. Because once u get up high it's all deals and relationship based. To get contracts to get laws your way for ur business and partnerships.

This is why it's hard for black people to break in bc most of these agreements are made at a country club or dinner alumni events etc. investment banking is literally a relationship business

:salute: dope thread. Any of my brehs still in finance?. My last post in here was in 2013 when I was working in corporate and municipal debt. I left the company in August of 2013 To join another bank to work in M&A escrows, still going strong right now. Still plan to transition to government about 2 years.

Still haven’t transitioned to Government like I planned. Still working in M&A Escrows :mjcry:.
