**Late pass on this one. I originally planned to drop this on the 30th anniversary last year, but it wasn't sounding how I wanted it to, so I shelved it. I recently dusted it off & revamped it**

Celebrating 30 years of A Tribe Called Quest's 'Low End Theory'. How do you follow up a 5-mic debut album?? With a 5-mic sophomore LP! Everything about this album is a MASTERPIECE....from the abstract cover art, to the jazz-infused production emphasizing the LOW END, to the rhymes traded effortlessly between Q-Tip and Phife (R.I.P.). Genius-level artistry. This album represented a defining moment in hip hop, so I HAD to pay tribute to the Kings of Queens.

30 years…that’s insane…I promised an old coworker (about 12 years ago) I’d make a copy of this for her to listen to…never did…and for some reason I’m pissed off that I didn’t…she was about 24 at the time…from atlanta and claims she never heard a tribe record
