I always go back and forth, but I gotta give the edge to MM. I played both albums back to back last night during a 2 hour car drive. What struck me is just how much better MM sounded. The actual sound and its cohesiveness is incredible and I think that's what gives it the slight edge. I also think both Tip and Phife were better lyrically on MM

Don't get it twisted though, you can't go wrong with either one
