Homie you got me fukked up.

I was locked for four years, first of all.

And I just started recording this month. I had a slew of beats ready last year, but in my own high standards, and self-criticism of my craft, chose to change about 80% of the production last minute. Not to mention the fact that I co-produced, re-mixed (as in tailored to fit my lyrics, pauses, edits, & effects added) every last one of the beats on the tape myself.

I don't know what you mean by "leaning" on production, but my skills is just as good, if not better than these instrumentals. Not only that, but I REFUSE to rhyme over wack, over-done, or well-known beats. I only posted these because I'm doing a slow rollout to build anticipation on a number of sites/social media outlets for the release, it's already heavily awaited in my area, where cats actually know what I'm about and ain't heard any new music from me since before my incarceration.

Sorry I'm not wit all the drop 500 YouTube videos before my mixtapes even out era. I dropped these beats as a teaser, then I'm dropping some singles in March & April, once they're mixed down & mastered to my liking, then a few videos, shows, THEN the project, followed by another single & video and more shows. It's a long wait between now & July. And as I stated earlier, I refuse to diminish my work ethic, or quality by droppin shyt every week for (some) fickle ass fans of an oversaturated genre.
