That’s why we’re thrilled to be launching our Vevo app in select countries on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 systems starting today!

The apps have been built from the ground up with the PlayStation experience in mind. Browsing our content has never been simpler, with built in tools such as a persistent left navigation menu, dedicated artist pages, and access to all of our original programming. In our watch page, the right rail always provides recommended content contextual to what you’re currently watching. Because we are committed to delivering the most enjoyable console viewing experience, all videos are displayed at the highest HD quality.
In addition, both of our apps let you create and edit playlists and synch them with all of our other apps on your other connected devices like mobile phones and tablets. And, exclusively to PlayStation, you can also watch Vevo TV no matter where you are (we’re launching it soon on our other apps in all Vevo countries).

Vevo For PS4 And PS4 Launched In Select Markets

Vevo is a popular music platform that’s known for providing easy access to some of the hottest new music videos. It’s channels are available on Youtube and Vevo has released apps for several different platforms itself. It’s now turning its attention towards Sony’s gaming consoles. The official Vevo app for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 has been released in selected markets today.
The company points out that it has built these apps from scratch for Sony’s gaming consoles so that the user interface is completely in line with the consoles’ user experience. The app will let users access dedicated artist pages as well as original programming from Vevo.
When users play a video they will see recommendations that have been personalized according to what they are watching and what they’ve watched in the past. The app will automatically play all videos in HD on the consoles. Users will be able to create and edit playlists using the app as well and then sync them with Vevo’s apps for other platforms.
Vevo for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 is live now in the UK, France, Australia, Germany, Italy, Ireland, The Netherlands, Poland, New Zealand and Spain.
The company has confirmed that its app for Sony’s consoles will be released for the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil next.

for years about the fact of a Vevo app on Xbox, but NOT on PlayStation when Sony Music co-owns Vevo.

Have y'all used that Vidzone app before??!! The Video quality is GARBAGE!!!!! It looks like they just uploaded Sub-Standard Def music videos they found on the internet onto to the Vidzone servers.
