I don't work @ Walgreens and even if I did, that cashier has the right to refuse serving a customer.

A cashier's job is to ring up items the customer is trying to buy.

They're not gatekeepers.

I don't care what the company policy is or what legalities they trying to step around. If these bozos keep doing this it'll be self check out only and this dumbass will be out of a job.

They have condoms on the shelf but don't want to sell them :comeon:

Clearly Walgreens has no problems selling them the cashier did. If your religion is against condoms you shouldn't work for a company that sells them. GTFO or sell what they offer.

What's next somebody brings a 6 pack to the register and the cashier refuses because alcohol is against their religion :camby:

TYRONE GA!
Why stop at religious beliefs?

Race, gender, height, method of payment, etc are all fair game for the slippery slope you are describing, like that one religious bakery who didn't wanna patronize a gay couple for religious purposes.

I see where your coming from, but as I said why should it be able to stop at 'religious beliefs'?

yup, and that's exactly why you don't open pandora's box

This already happens; I knew someone that did this who worked at a grocery store. Didn't sell alcohol bc it was against her beliefs...weirdo behavior
