Yeah, none of these Super Powers are going to fight each other directly because it’ll be nukes as the first and last option. This ain’t going to be like Top Gun or storming beaches.
The country who doesn’t shoot their nukes is going to get nuked and their nuclear sites/facilities bombed out so that they can’t nuke back.
No country wants that to happen to them so it’ll be hundreds of nukes all in the air at once from both sides the second it’s declared war. 30 minutes for everyone in the world basically to get in a bomb shelter that they’ll be living in for the next 4-5 years. Farmlands destroyed, dams destroyed with radioactive water flooding regions, hurricanes and windstorms throwing more shyt around for years, etc.
Either that happens or the powers that be can keep making money off their citizens. The choice is easy. It’ll get far worse for citizens of each country to the point the powers can be can’t get anymore money off them, that’s when nuclear options start getting real. We’re a long ways off from it ever reaching that point.
Basically, it’ll be a complete L for both sides and everybody living on this planet.
