Still haven't given him a real in depth listen, on the surface he comes off like a southern version of kante, which kind of makes me uninterested.

My cousin is his biggest fan though, so it has to be something there, I just don't feel like he's essential to anything of first listen.

Um they didn't make this song together. Yelawolf verse was just added much later. This is a song with a theme, not a show out track. Krit got everybody on this track, including Yelawolf.

The song in general was underwhelming, he didn't have a better verse than kendrick, I would rather just listen to Big Boi.

Well if he sounds like your average 00s south rapper, I must be missing out on some really good music since I didn't listen to much to the music coming out of the south during that period.
