Because as he continues to do more fukk shyt people's opinions change?

Styles P said he let the ghostwriting thing slide because Drake makes good pop music.

Flash forward a couple years later....Drake is now ducking out of a battle with Pusha T while trying to dictate what can and cannot happen in that battle.

Styles P said Drake has no place to even suggest some shyt like that.

Is Styles P still a fan? Yes.

Did his opinion of Drake further erode, since the ghostwriting? Yes.

It's not rocket science. People (not you, just saying in general) love to talk about how many fans Drake has while ignoring a decent chunk of them only see him as a pop star. We're not talking to them. We're talking to the guys that positioned Drake as the next Jay-Z.

Fred.

Styles P's opinion of Drake didn't further erode. He didn't flat out say "Drake no longer has credibility as an MC because he has writers" then come back and say "Drake doesn't have any credibility as an MC because he's ducking Pusha". Styles opinion was pretty consistent. He gave the ghostwriting a pass due to Drake making good Pop music and said Drake was in no position to dictate a battle. Both true statements and neither diminished Styles's opinion or Drake nor did he contradict himself. If he views Drake as a Pop star, then of course Drake is in no position to dictate a rap battle. Even if Styles views him as an MC, you don't dictate a rap battle.

The Booth on the other hand was inconsistent. It was "Drake isn't a credible MC because he has writers" then it was "Drake isn't a credible MC because he's ducking Pusha". If Drake is already written off, why even expect a response? Why even check for dude for bars anymore beyond the point of him having writers? I mean, The Booth will claim Drake writes NOTHING. So even if he responds, people who run with that narrative will swear someone else wrote it.

If at this point, Hip Hop heads view Drake as the next Jay Z, you really think continuing to push the issue of him not responding to Pusha will change anything especially since a lot of people on here also feel that Jay has ducked battles.
