My definition of mc is different from yours An emcee is someone who can rock a crowd. I have yet to see Drake live but I heard Drake is very good at keeping the crowd hype.

I saw Fugees live and Wyclef is a very dope mc. He was able to talk to the crowd and makes us participate. Saw KRS, Biggie and Wu Tang live...MCing at its finest.

Ya'll moving goal posts. In 2015, the narrative was that he was no longer a respected MC due to being exposed for having writers. Even before that, there were people pushing the narrative that Drake was more so a singer/Pop star than a rapper. How does he lose respect that, according to The Booth, he didn't have before the disses?

People were actually saying he was the next Jay-Z at one point, that all ended once the ghostwriting allegations happened. At one point i thought he was writing everything, i lost respect after hearing what was going on. I'm sure the younger generation don't care about these things though.

fakkit nikkas on the Coli rewriting history to whatever they like best haha. Drake is still arguably the biggest artist in hiphop, and still incredibly relevant. The man released an album of all OLD song 2 months ago and they went to number 1...yet “he’s done” and “he’s quiet.” Man...stfu lol.
