Lions' Ndamukong Suh allegedly threatened Comcast employee with pellet gun; no charges filed
Allen Park — Ndamukong Suh won't be charged with a crime, but he allegedly used a pellet gun to threaten a Comcast employee outside his home last month.
According to a Birmingham police report, Suh confronted the employee with a pellet gun around 9 p.m. on Aug. 16 when the employee was in Suh's yard trying to fix the cable for another home. [

Comcast employee Spencer Ferrell, 22, told police the utility pole holding the cable service box he was fixing was in the service residence's backyard, right next to a fence shared with Suh's home. Ferrell told police the box could only be accessed by going through Suh's yard, and after bringing his tools into the yard, Suh came out of his garage waving the pellet gun in "an intimidating manner.
"
After listening to Suh yell, Ferrell said he returned to his work truck and called his supervisor and 911.
Suh told police at a hotel in Dearborn the Comcast employee should've never been on his property without permission and that he was "in fear" for his and his family's safety.
"If you think I show aggression on the football field, I would show more to protect my family," Suh told police.

Suh's sister Ngum provided surveillance video from the home to the police, and it confirms Suh's story.
Suh arrived home a few minutes after Ferrell went into his yard, then Suh began to look into his backyard. The video shows Ferrell proving his employment and Suh holding the gun in his right hand and pointing it at the ground. After several minutes, Suh moved the gun over his right shoulder, still pointing away from Ferrell.
The Oakland County Prosecutor's Office reviewed the case and concluded there was insufficient evidence of a crime at Suh's home.
Suh's sister gave the gun to Birmingham police.
The NFL fined Suh $100,000 Tuesday for a low block on Vikings center John Sullivan, the highest fine in history for a single on-field play.
