This comment came as a response to American blacks being critical of Zimbabweans who were quick to celebrate Mugabe's resignation with White people. At the end of the day I want to see ALL Africans win globally.We should have interest in each others affairs because we're all in the fight against the global white supremacy system..no time to be splitting up into teams, because they damn sure dont.

I don't agree because as AA's Africa concerns us. That's just like an Israeli telling a Jewish-American that Israeli Affairs doesn't concern Jewish-Americans. Remember, we are children of Africa and Africa is our home. Now, I will admit that this whole Zimbabwe ordeal has been intriguing to me. Or a Syrian-American meddling into Syrian conflicts.

All because Mugabe threatened to send a woman to prison (White Woman) for 20 years for dissing him. Then, the next week dude lost his military and power in his country White Women truly are devilish.

The general consensus was that AA don’t know enough about deep down African politics and culture as they’re far removed from anything to do with Africa besides being black

Breh, do some reading for crying out loud You really think his downfall was a white chick potentially going to prison? If any woman was to be blamed for his downfall it was his wife. This was 30 years in the making and considering his wife is 52 years old and being groomed to replace him, THE PEOPLE of Zimbabwe weren't going to stand for it and allow another 30 years of that foolishness.

I'm kinda being tongue in cheek/sarcastic here sir. I know the backstory of the guy. Also, the VP he fired from what I heard is no better. Zimbabwe needs a truly Democratic society. However, we won't get that until all of these corrupt officials are out of power.

I think the issue is being overly critical without knowing the whole story. There’s a way to be engaged in other people’s affairs tactfully without stepping out of place.

I think she’s being a lil extra putting this on all of Black America and speaking for Africa as a whole, however I understand the frustration.

There are issues on the continent that cannot be viewed within the black /white dynamic and Mugabe was always one of those, not many people realized how unpopular he was because of how the political institutions were repressed. It did not take much for his own party to abandon him that quick once shyt hit the fan, the same party would have been happy enough to endorse him to run the country at 94 until he was 99. AA were heavily involved in the fight against apartheid , people like Andrew Young at the foreign policy level and artists like Stevie Wonder were heavily involved in keeping the issue in the spotlight.
