Egypt been on that fukk shyt for decades. We’ve had to maintain sovereignty and keep the country together no thanks to them. Prolly wouldn’t have people running off to a fukked up country like Lebanon to make a living if they’d leave us the fukk alone.

The other fukked up thing from the article, is those workers are often forced into exploitative working conditions and if they refuse can be deported. Yet won’t send them home if they were essentially fired.

Facts, under them is all type of opportunism from cronies ready to be bought and sold. If Africa was left alone to develop on all fronts this would eventually change but it’s too many hands so leaders are weak. I know the Dam issue is major but you’d think this wouldn’t be an issue for a so called Nobel Laureate.

Ethiopia has one of the best airlines in Africa, they need to send few planes and airlift their people out of there. One of the down sides of having a huge population is resources being stretched thin.
I remember saudi arabia asking Somalia for maids, the ignorant president agreed at that time and we nearly decapitated that motherfuka, he had to pull back, it's better to be poor with dignity then allow urself to be abused physically, sexually, financially by those sub human arabs.

If they build a an industry to replace a reliance on the EU or the USA it would get bombed by a drone & the headline would read we took out a dangerous chemical plant .
Believe me, it makes me sick watching Ethiopians run to that part of the world to be formally abused and oppressed. I know development is sorely needed in the country tho so I understand why they do this.
But I agree, dignity is more important than being brutalized and potentially trafficked and enslaved on the journey there.
