Oklahoma asks teachers to return up to $50,000 in bonuses the state says were paid in error

Some Oklahoma educators are being forced to repay up to $50,000 in teacher recruitment bonuses that were improperly paid out by the state Department of Education.

This is a terrible situation, especially when you consider nearly every state in the union is having problems acquiring certified teachers. Taking that money back, may just increase their difficulty in acquiring qualified teachers and just may cause them to lose some over this.
