Bengals' Adam 'Pacman' Jones arrested, charged with assault, disorderly conduct
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman”Jones was arrested downtown on W. Eighth Street near Garfield Place Tuesday.
Jones is facing charges of obstructing official business, disorderly conduct and assault.
He’s also facing a charge of harassment with a bodily substance for allegedly spitting on someone while being processed at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
Local 12 was told Jones was causing a scene at a bar downtown. According to court documents, he was beating on doors, yelling, cursing and allegedly refused to stop when asked. Another document says he also tried to physically harm another man by pushing him and poking him in the eye.
When officers tried to take him in, Jones apparently pulled away from officers and refused to get in to the police car. Then, while being processed in the Justice Center, the Bengal player also allegedly spit on an employee.
Jones is expected to be arraigned in court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
