Why Adam Silver is right for calling for end of ‘one-and-done’ rule

Silver, for his part, cited three things that have dramatically shifted. The scandals are one. “It’s clearly not working for the college game,” Silver said. Second is the increase in one-and-done players declaring for the draft. There were 16 last year. Silver said the average had been about eight per year.

And finally, it appears more top recruits don’t care about where they go to college and are just biding their time until draft night. This may be most concerning to the NBA because it impacts the league directly.

How the fukk can he change the rule because of curruption in college..you run the NBA, not the NCAA :hhh:

Let the college game fix their own issues. Changing the rule wont stop players from being paid.

What yall think about this?

Don't really agree with the one and done rule because they should have the free choice to do what they want. But I'm not exactly sure how his third point is really hurting the NBA unless he believes the students are not even trying in practice and in games to improve as players while they're in college the one year.

the rule didn't go as planned

those kids are not learning to be men in 7 months

make it 4 years or no years
I agree, I miss good college basketball and I think the NBA will be better for it too. End this coach Calipari bullshyt:camby:......back to the old Georgetown Syracuse North Carolina elite play college basketball days:smugbiden:

basically

I think 2 years would accomplish significantly more than the one year, but you reach that stage where if you aren't gonna make at least 3 mandatory, what's the point ? Let the kids have the option to come straight out of HS and be done with it.
