Had a cousin give up his baby bc his girlfriend was Mormon and they weren't married so her parents pressured them both into giving the child to an older Mormon couple. Anyway, do you think adoption is morally right, especially in a case like this?

Your cousin doesn't want the baby, her family doesn't want the baby; what's the problem?

This country needs more adoptions and abortions. A lot of societies problems stem from shytty upbringings by parents that shouldn't have had children in the first place. Sure, there'll be less strippers, hookers, porn stars, and drug dealers, but it might be worth it in the long run. :ehh:

I can't really answer that without knowing more of the situation. Adoption is good as long as the child isn't raised in a foster home because I hear all too often of horror stories associated with them. I'm pretty sure that there are good foster parents but at the same time you hear about the bad situations that can potentially mess with the child's upbringing.

Well see that's the problem, he's my age and my families complaint was that he could of gave the kid to his parents to raise on top of that his mother and her parents (my uncle is my moms brother) have always looked down on the rest of my family (even though they're both white) judging them and shyt, but when this happened they just played it off as if it were nothing.

Why didn't he a. marry her or b. raise the kid himself, because she was obviously not getting an abortion. Crazy how detached the grandparents were from their grandkid.

if the kid goes to a good family why the fukk would adoption be bad in anyway??? the only way adoption would be bad is if they got adopted into some like fukked up family.

I've always thought it would be sweet to adopt a child but also have children of my own.

Or an orphan plague. That'd solve a few problems and create a few funeral service jobs.

On the adoption thing, adoption is always the right option if you can find a family better suited mentally and financially than the originals in that situation. It seems like no one really wanted the kid so why put it through a life in a house where no one wanted him. Especially a household that is so easily influenced by outside forces.
