This is a false comparison because an entity or ideology that advocates for the interests of a particular segment of the population is never going to be congruent with the needs of a nation. It may intersect at some points but they will never be 100% parallel because a rising tide does not lift all boats. If you are in the slave quarters of the ship and the tide rises you’re still in the slave quarters at the end of the day. Here’s AIPAC’s agenda for example:

• Oppose Iranian Aggression
• Support Assistance for Israel and Foreign Aid
• Support direct negotiations with Palestine
• Oppose boycotts of Israel

Where’s Medicare for all, where’s green new deal, or universal child care? They are not there because AIPAC only advocates for things that affect the Jewish community specifically and after analysis there is no difference between what AIPAC and what African-Americans want.

We want to stop American aggression against us as a people and we want support assistance because this is what we need SPECIFICALLY. We, like AIPAC do not mention Medicare for All or Subsidized Higher Education because these are national agendas and not centered on repairing the African American community. They need to apply as much energy to repairing us as they did destroying us.

AIPAC’s agenda is a FOREIGN agenda whereas The agenda’s posted in OP are DOMESTIC agendas. It’s fair to compare them since there is a lot of overlap. Even though a lot of what’s contained in the progressive agenda is not specific to black people and black people only, there are tons that address issues that DISPROPORTIANATELY affect black people. That may not matter to you, but I’m sure for the vast majority of black people it does.
