Adrian Peterson is back on the field with the Minnesota Vikings after an offseason of reported conflict between the two parties.

In February, Peterson said it was up to his wife, Ashley, whether or not he would return to Minnesota. This weekend at Adrian Peterson Day in the former OU star's hometown of Palestine, Texas, Ashley Peterson said that she'd prefer to be closer to her home in Oklahoma, but that she and her husband "are happy to be going back."
