This happened when I was in HS twice, and I wasn't even from a bad neighborhood like that.
Ironically enough, both times some HS'ers ended up whooping the grown gang members ass.
One time was in Summer School. We used to get out during lunch and walk to all the fast food restaurants. There were 2 grown ass men that used to press people and one time they pressed the wrong dude.
Then in regular HS 2 dudes hopped our fence and started fighting people. They'd run up on someone start fighting them then move on to another person. They did it to a kids brother who jumped in and beat em up.

I’ve seen this happen myself when I was in junior high school (I.S 237). Indian dude named Reddish had a fight with my boy Ja and one of the 20 year olds from our hood at the time defended my boy Ja by whopping Reddish ass something fierce. Dude had two swollen black eyes, face swollen it was an absolute mess.

I’ve had grown men pull up to my school before, the worst part is some of em where in their 30s and 40s. They got beat up and the local news paper ran a story as if they where the victims due to the race of the people involved.
