Or on that 30 is the new 20, 20 is the new 10 and etc..

HUGE RED FLAG.

To me, growing up should NEVER be seen as a bad thing especially considering that theres people who wont live long enough to get that opportunity to grow up. How do you shun growth when youre growing every minute you get?

Growing up or adulting doesnt mean getting a 9 to 5 and staying there until youre 50. Growing up to me is when yoy know when or what you NEED to and when or what do not to give a fukk about something given the appropriate time, place and situation it is. After a certain age, its about doing whats in your best interest or will help you grow to the next level.

Nothing wrong about growing up.

I agree to an extent. No one likes bills or having to figure shyt out on their own but there’s a limit-some people flounder as adults and need to cling to nostalgia or yesteryear to keep sane. Meh.

I love my life, loved it “back then“ and the only reason I would revisit would be if I knew then what I know now. :Yeshrug:

Actually I’m super appreciative that IG/Twitter wasn’t a thing when I was in college, or that I generally didn’t care/don’t care about it :ninja1::scheme:

Nothing wrong with paying bills. For me personally, i dont mind paying bills because growing up, i witnessed and im not ashamed to say it even though i was what the consequences of not paying bills on time was. Not trying to throw family under the bus but lets just say we had a few unpleasant setback due to someones in ability to handle their assigned responsibilities when i was a kid and it was embarrassing because i paid the consequence to what someone failed to do financially. shyt was wack and it was wack that it was adults behind that shyt. Working is a part of life but obviously, theres a goal. I dont plan on doing this job forever. I have passions and obviously am working on the next step and plus im getting old and learning certain things about myself which may not things more difficult but i know ill get to where i need and want to be. I have patience.

To me, its about handling responsibilities to stay in charge or be fully independent and in control of things for the most part. Guess my mentality is like that because i want to own land, my own house, growing my own plants and weed, self farming, having trades under my belt and being able to be self employed, make my own bread without needing an employer, for real. Presidential, executive, leadership type of shyt, overseeeing the entire operation. Im moving like that

The world the boomers were “audalting” in and the one we are is not exactly the same.

Not saying I want to hear grown ups cry but I hate when I hear older people who got a Good/decent job at a factory out of high school and was able to buy a 3 bedroom house for 50k and raise 2 or 3 kids talk down to millennials and Gen Zers.

it’s less bang for your buck in every way now days.

Who gives a fukk? Let folks do them. Getting old is depressing, everybody wants to look young and feel young. All that wisdom shyt at 60 is overrated. So many things to do so little time

That’s why it’s important to balance work and play. I know waaaay too many people who do nothing but sleep and watch Netflix on their days off then wonder why they feel unfulfilled.

DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE.

And dedication.

work hard to play harder. I get that life is limited, we are all going to die one day, nobody knows when theyre going to die, live each day like your last and all the universal truths to life BUT the flip side is you live to see another minute so you got a minute to spare. What you do with your time matters. I know its a motherfukker because i have the same issue. I know what i need to do but yet shyt doesnt click. Yet once i get the hang of something, i seem to float like its nothing or its a habit.

I feel that growing up is about truly knowing yourself and when i say TRULY KNOWING YOURSELF, its when you know whats right and whats wrong with you too. You cant lead a full life and up to your full potential if you never own up to all of you. Growing up means you learn to work with yourself and dont let your flaws stop you from living life like everyone else. Being confident about your flaws. I may be weird but my weirdness doesnt stop me from doing what i have to do. I just have to work harder at it and be patient. Not everybody grows at the same time. Folks be thinking that they failed because they didnt have such and such milestone in life happen to them. A part of growing up is accepting that your life story is your life story. You arent going to be someone else so accept it
