never open a merchant account with those credit card processing companies. Biggest scam ever, they can put you out of biz.

If you want to accept credit cards use square. Flat price no tricks no surprises. Everything else is some mafia style imbezelment job

Merchant accounts are dead if you a small business owner. Even restaurants and other small retail spots is using Square now. Don't get caught lacking tho, PayPal grimey too. I've had more than a few issues with them. But all in all its way better than a merchant account.
