Affirmative was a good idea and it should have lasted longer - honestly the quota system was the best way to do it. We do not have actual affirmative action now, havent for a while. Instead we have a pat on the head reduced standard system.
The most important thing should be having a plan for college, not getting into the best one possible. The story of affirmative action (quota system) is one of a policy that actually worked towards making blacks better off: this made cacs mad and ruined a good policy.
No one wants to question the fact that k-12 is failing our children though
