Black dominated sport. The stars and big earners of the sport are black and yet the coaches and people in the upper management roles are majority white. Owners, predominantly white.

There use to be a lot more black coaches and execs in the NBA
These white stat nerds don't think black coaches can understand statistics. And black former coaches are less likely to put stats before the eye test and actual bball knowledge.
