it is not the same as it was in early 00s. millennials wasnt able to vote (alot of them) and they are way more liberal

politically, it's hard to ask supporters to be progressive enough to support Equality based subjects like being anti discrimination or equal pay for black people
and then at the same ask them to take a complete 180 on that progressiveness when it comes to other groups on that same exact topic.

Being for interracial marriage but against same gender marriage might make sense from one perspective. But i promise the majority of the country is not going to understand that logic.

And I love the disparity for Republicans on abortion and the death penalty. But of course we know it's difficult to draw logical consistency from the moral basis they predominantly pull from, which is practically nonexistent given most of them haven't even read the text they pull it from.

A lot has changed since the Obama and Trump eras. Black folk been tread new ground on a lot of things.

Those studies are rooted in the black church essentially. Do a poll now, and do one for black people under 30 specifically, I bet those numbers look way different.
