The way American teenagers are raised it is bound to get hectic when dealing with some foreigners.

Americans are raised and encouraged to "express themselves" because the concept of freedom of expression is the American way. In most 3rd world countries children are to be seen not heard. You're a child you are taught to SHUT THE fukk UP at all times or you'll get your ass whooped at which point you still need NOT CRY because that too falls under the SHUT THE fukk UP rule.
