I hate when mofos say this dumb sh!t

If they werent evil Africa would have flourished and probably the best place to be as been the heaven that it should have been as opposed to its current state. Then THIS part of the world would have still been run by the great Maya and Aztec and Incas. There would have been no United States of America or Canada
You would have no reason to WANT TO BE in this part of the world. :stopitslime:

True but none of us would exist. Just an ugly situation we have to rectify...

breh, we know who they are, we have been trying to put it in the past, but it's not easy. They were able to extend their "kingdoms" by taking other tribes' lands, having the support of white people, (whities had guns:ehh:, my tribe dealt with arrows:wow:).

Before our independence, those same tribes were against our freedom, they wanted Europeans to stay because they would lose all their privileges like being able to go to school or having positions in those old "governments". When we fought for our independence, those guys were just chilling :upsetfavre:or aiding Europeans. We had villages and bunch of leaders exterminated because of this. They know who they are. In school, we just look at them like this:sas2:. There is no reason to fight about it tho, but it's obvious it's still there back home with tensions over lands like "this land does not belong to you, your tribe stole it ".:yeshrug:

It's well known which tribes/groups were involved. The really sad thing is between the Islamic and European trades the continent suffered from depopulation and whole villages disappeared and left a desolate and underdeveloped landscape for colonists to take advantage of later on.

How Europe Underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney is probably one of the best books on that.

It gives mention to the slave trading kingdoms and how this economic relationship was created and eventually used to put the continent under the boot of the West. It's real interesting how Europeans steered it into the direction of exploitation almost from the outset and how the trade weakened the continent to such a degree that it was rather easy to colonize once European weapons technology reached that point. Really answers a lot of questions and shows how the Black struggle is truly a worldwide struggle.

Introduction to African Civilizations by John Jackson is another good one.

Another book folks need to read is Christopher Columbus and the Afrikan Holocaust: Slavery and the Rise of European Capitalism by John Henrik Clarke

Please dont take this the wrong way, but as ive said many times before:

It absilutely pisses me off how some African-Americans seem to think they were the only blacks that had to endure slavery. As if they are the only ones who had to struggle. As if the rest of us were chilling on the beach in the Caribbean at some Sandals resort back in the 1600s or back in Africa. It's well documented that slavery in the Caribbean and other parts of Central and South America was just as bad if not worst than what took place here. We all suffered and all still struggling.

So if this doesnt get black people across the world to come together and unite I dont know what will.
in Grenada the teach how African people where brought over to work the cotton sugar and tobacco plantations and they talk about the slave rebellion that went on against the British kind of a proud moment for us
