Scroll down to the bottom though...

"Another example is on a map showing Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa, made around 1529 by cartographer Conte di Ottomanno Freducci, who was based in Ancona, Italy (active 1497-1539). Unusually Mansa Musa is represented with white skin, wearing European-style clothing and playing a stringed musical instrument."

Luckily Mansa Musa as we know him is today depicted as his right color as a black man, but imagine all of the black figures lost to history due to whitewashing and erasure by cacs and arabs :mjpls: :mjpls:
They kept stressing how certain places in Africa weren’t Black because they weren’t sub-Saharan… They couldn’t pull that with Mansa Musa being from Mail. They probably tried tho

Yeah & we got robbed and entire cities burned to the ground.

Now we broke.

Thats why I dont really flex on social media unless its my Instagram stories that will get deleted in 24 hours.

I learned from the mistakes of my ancestors.... being lowkey is the way.
